Grading Policy
We will follow the school policy on grading students.
Tests, Projects and Unit Performance Tasks: 50%
Quizzes/Quick Checks : 20%HW :10%
Classwork/Notebook/Class Participation: 20%
All grades will be found on Pupil Path.
Honor Roll and Principal's List
Principal’s List: All 4’s in all subject areas, 95% attendance, (no major lateness) no conduct issues
Honor Roll: All 3’s and 4’s in all subject areas; 95% attendance, (no major lateness) no conduct issues
Effort Roll: All 3’s; 95% attendance, (no major lateness) no conduct issues
Third Grade is now Departmentalized!
In the 2018-19 school year, Grade 3 became departmentalized! What does this mean? This means that this year your child will be switching classes! Your child will have different teachers for ELA/Social Studies and Math/Science. Ms. Giorgio is the Math/Science teacher for 3rd grade and Ms. Elezovic is the Special Education Teacher that follows the 301 schedule. If your child follows Class 301's schedule, then an additional teacher will be there with class 301.
