Get Ready for Kindergarten

Read, read, read
writing and identifying your child’s first and last name
Name and write their uppercase and lowercase letters
Introduce them to the sounds letters make
Holding a pencil
Cutting with a scissor
Writing and identifying numbers 0-10
Putting on and taking off their jacket/dress themselves
Start practicing tying their shoes
Sharing
Counting objects
Listening
Do fun activities together– play games, draw pictures with chalk, go to the zoo, etc.
